Personal Training involves changing your lifestyle, your thinking process, the way you perform exercises, what and how you eat and many other things most people don't consider. Our job is to focus on YOU and helping you live your best life. We ask lot of questions, so we can understand better who you are and how to get you to your fitness Happy Zone. Individual training sessions will give you a better perspective on your current fitness level, and what you need to do to reach the next level. Personal trainer will evaluate your ability to perform exercises and works together implementing the new progressions.
At Prevail Fitness we recommend to approach training as a process - set goals, make plan, commit and work to get it. Hence we recommend to plan and acquire the following session packages:
INTRODUCTORY TO PERSONAL TRAINING (3-5 sessions)
It’s the perfect way to test your determination and willingness to commit. We meet up with you during your first session, evaluate your abilities, determine your general goals and give you a taste of training session. After completing 3 sessions you are free to decide if you want to continue, how often you wish to workout with a trainer, and what you need to do on your own to reach your balance.
KICK START THE CHANGE (10 sessions)
It takes time to build a habit and fall in love with an exercise. We start slow, but strong. We provide you with 45 min. fitness consultation, evaluating your exercise history, your habits, you health conditions. Together with you we will set your goals, and schedule. We perform body measurement, fitness assessment and movement screening (ability to perform certain exercises). Depending on the consultation's results we will design you a customized workout plan and get you going.
I WANT MORE! (20 sessions)
Consistency is the key, and if you are determined to reach your goals we are offering the package of 20 sessions. You know what you are getting yourself into, you have a deadline, and you know whatever it takes you will keep training. Then this package is just for you.

Working out with a best friend, spouse, co-worker, parent or sibling is for those that want to use the motivation of a friend, and get amazing results in a private setting, while saving money. Partner and group support is a very important element seeking your goal. We understand and highly encourage this phenomena that enforces the weight loss, and fitness improvement progress. Therefore for those that have hard time sticking to their commitment, we highly recommend starting up / joining one of our small training groups.
Either it is you and your partner and you want to spend more time together, if it is just 3-5 of your friends, colleagues, like minded individuals who wants to help each other become healthier give us a call and we will start you on a program.

In addition to your private or group training packages, we are including online coaching for a free trail period to all our clients. This offer will also be available to clients outside of Vancouver. We feel that online coaching will help you further your progress and achievements at Prevail Fitness. How does the Online Coaching work?
How Will Online Coaching Help Me Achieve My Goals?
- As much as we would like to see what you are eating and how you are exercising, there is no way for us to be with you 24/7. Online coaching will allow us to communicate with you outside of your training session. This will provide us with more details on your barriers to activity and healthy eating and help you overcome them.
- Not all of us are lucky enough to be living in this fabulous city of Vancouver, BC and are therefore unable to experience our training first hand. Online training allows us to create individualized workouts, organize workout schedules, check food journals and provide motivational check-ins through email, phone calls and video conferencing.
- For those of you with price restrictions, online training is a more affordable way to stay training with Prevail Fitness.
How Do I Start Online Coaching?
- We will give you a call to get to know you and your workout history. We will ask about your current fitness level, your barriers and your goals.
- You will then begin accessing our online training studio. We recommend visiting it at least three times per week to fill in your calendar and to pick up your workout routines which will be updated weekly.
- Do your workouts and check them off as complete after each training session.
- Wait for our weekly phone call to check in and find out how your week went. If your week did not go well, we will discuss how we can improve for next week.
**Note our online clients are limited to 25 people per trainer. This will allow us to provide each client with the time and attention they need. We will track and evaluate your progress consistently. If you are having difficulty with commitment, we will encourage you to return when the timing is better for you.
