Lets Get Fit – Say Bye to that Olympic Hangover

What a great time to be living in Vancouver! It was an amazing two weeks.

The Olympics are behind us now, but the memories will stay with us forever.

If you are one of those people who took full advantage of the games, you are probably experiencing an “Olympic Hangover” of some sort.  You may feel tired or out of shape or that you need to burn off that extra couple of pounds you seemed to have gained through all the celebrations.  Well it is time! - No more excuses, let’s get back to the gym!

Spring is upon us, and bikini season is just 12 weeks away! It is time to get back into your routine of working out and eating healthy nutritious meals.


Here is the list of things you can do:

  • Schedule your Personal Training session and have Aiste or Aly to help you get back into your routine. Sometimes that extra motivation is the best way to get your butt back in gear. Having that session booked will keep you accountable and on-track each week.  Let us help guide you toward your goals.
  • Join one of our Small Group Personal Training sessions – A more affordable option, which will also provide you with a support group and fun environment – email info@prevailfitness.ca for more information.
  • Get your workout done in one of our Circuit Style BootCamp classes:
  • Join one of our Outside the Gym Adventures

    • March 7th (Sunday)INDOOR ROCK CLIMBING at Cliffhanger (Sorry for the short notice) – Those of you who want to come and can make it that day please email aiste.ulozaite@gmail.com till Thursday (March 4th) 12pm as I need to know the final number to book it.

    • March 13 (Saturday) at 2pm – SKATING in Kits Community Centerplease pre-register by Thursday 12pm (March 10th), that we would know if we need to reserve some skates

    • We are also trying to form a group to start training for the SunRun – every Sunday 9 am starting from Kits Beach – please email if you are interested
    • DRAGON BOAT RACING is one of the most exciting activities on our to do outside the gym list. If you are interested please let us know and we will keep you posted with more details
